1. PROFESSIONAL STRUCTURAL ENGINEER
We’re working on a few projects that require an enlightened structural engineer willing to help us on a variety of projects ranging from designing a custom frame for a green wall to analyzing the structural capacity of a roof on a one hundred and twenty year old building. Don’t worry, we aren’t looking for official reports or anything, just some friendly advice and pre-assessment. Some of the work may be paid. Contact us for more information at info@projectsinplace.org.
2. FUNDRAISING / GRANT WRITING VOLUNTEER

3. PROFESSIONAL WITH SITE REMEDIATION EXPERIENCE
We would like to connect with an individual (environmental engineer or with experience in site remediation of contaminated sites to help out with certain project opportunities. Please contact us at info@projectsinplace.org.
4. SKILLED WELDER/METAL WORKER
We find ourselves designing an awful lot of metal green wall frames these days and we’re always looking for ways to build a better (and cheaper) mouse trap. Anyone in the Greater Vancouver Area willing to lend us a hand? If you are interested please send an email to info@projectsinplace.org.

Dear Sir, I will be graduating from the Lincoln Electric Welding School here in Cleveland, Ohio. I am writing to you today to volunteer my time to any project you have going on that may need some welding.
Please let me know. I am looking to start sometime around the first of January.
Thank You and Sincerely,
Patrick Niederst
Thanks Patrick!
We definitely have some cool ideas for your help in mind, but it is too short notice to put anything into place in time for this sunday’s build. Do you have any time to meet us at the Farm on sunday. We can have a chat about how to use your skills. Thanks a lot!
Best
Bryce
Dear Sir/Madam:
Thank you for your time and consideration in reading my email.
I would like to take a moment to introduce myself to you. My name is Dinesh Don and I am a Roofing Horticulture Designer for Dinyari Inc., a roofing company based out of San Jose, CA, U.S.A, specializing in green roofing and green landscaping design. I am well educated as well, holding a BSC in Horticulture Engineering from Ohio State University.
My passion is working with nature, creating beauty and enhancing the environment. I have found it very rewarding to be able to transform uninteresting sites into flourishing and functional landscapes.
The kind people at Dinyari Inc. are sending me to Canada to visit landscaping companies and flower expositions. We are making an effort to broaden our landscaping division and are enthusiastic about recent innovations coming from Canada.
I am most interested in creating an opportunity to visit your organization, and would be delighted to hear from you regarding that possibility.
If you would be agreeable to meeting with me while I am in your area, please send me an email with your contact information.
Many thanks again for your time and consideration.
Kind Regards,
Dinesh Priyal Don

Hello,
My name is Faith and up until fairly recently, I was working as a Welder / Steel Fabricator. Since the economy collapsed last year, many Welders, myself included, have been finding it very difficult to get work in the Vancouver area. Lately I’ve been working with an employment program for skilled tradespeople, trying to help those with silmilar employment issues. As a result, I haven’t been welding! I would love to hear more about the work you’re doing, and to see if I could lend a hand (and get welding again), or maybe refer some of my clients.
Please let me know! Thanks!
Cheers,
Faith
Hi Faith,
I am not sure if you got my email, but I would love to chat. Give me a call if you have time.

Hello
Terribly interested in each and all of your community/urban garden projects. I am entering my fourth year at UBC in First Nations studies. At the moment, I am co-chairing an initiative through Common Energy UBC known affectionately as Tangible Solutions (to climate crisis). Would make me heart burst with joy to involve myself as well as a few members from our organization with your projects.
Cheers
Lisa
